ABOUT US

Koretta Brown is the Executive Director of Bridges 2 Empowerment, an organization that works to provide educational and financial resources to underserved communities.
After living through trials and tribulations as a re-entry citizen Koretta decided to found Bridges 2 Empowerment in 2019 and as expanded its reach by influencing positive changes in the lives of many individuals.

Koretta is a true restorative Justice Advocate and has amassed a rich background in advocating for underserved system impacted communities and is dedicated to providing them with access to the resources they need to thrive.

In December of 2021 she received The Presidential Award from Leaders Esteem Christian Academy for completing over 400 hours of community service.

Organizational Goals

Black Voter Engagement Youth Justice

This table will build into a cultural organizing strategic partnerships with community to inspire artistic development which educates and empower our communities to vote in the November 2024 General Election. This project seeks to combine artistic expression with community engagement to promote civic involvement and cultural empowerment within the Black community.

Black Voter Engagement Table & Seasoned Saints

The goal of our Seasoned Saints table is to build a relationship with Senior driven communities, providing non-partisan education and entertainment.

Black Voter Engagement Table & Lioness

Our Lioness Table is a newly created table to provide a safe space for judicial impacted Women residing in Texas to be educated in non partisan elections and policies. We organize through local and state level advocacy restorative justice changes in Texas.
